In response to the growing interest in raw materials for energy generation in recent years, our subsidiary Olivet Energy BV was founded. This sector has specific problems with regard to the technological possibilities. Thanks to our many years of experience, we can provide expert advice.
In 1996, we moved to Poortugaal, the Netherlands. The site is easily accessible from the motorway with plenty of parking in front of the building.
Before 1970, the main focus was on the export of distilled fatty acids to the Middle East. As trade became impossible due to the troubled political situation in the region, we directed our attention to the European Union and the surrounding countries.
After the death of Mr Otten, the company continued under a new name: BV Olie- en Vetbedrijf ‘Olivet’, formerly H.J. Otten.
